OpenWRT for RBR50?

Question

I know the RBR50 is end of life from netgear but I see OpenWRT firmware available and looks like it's including security fixes. Has anyone updated to the openWRT firmware and have feedback? I was looking to replace it with a supported model but perhaps this can be a way to extend the life of it

Search for Voxel. He has a custom version of firmware for the 50 series that is updated frequently.
