Hello,
I tried to use Orbi (2 units) configured in AP Mode. The problem is: it drops connection randomly, for something like 20 seconds. It happens all the time, like 10 times per hour, at leas...

What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Hello,
Well, I don't think the wifi environment may be the cause, because it works fine when using router mode. The distance between the 2 units is around 20 feet.
The problem only exists when I configure the units to AP Mode.
I tried disabling daisy chain, it did not solve the problem.

30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials. 20 is a bit too close. The router alone can cover up to 30 feet and beyond depending upon building materials.
Try the system with out the satellite. Does the router work ok on it's own?

The distance is not linear. The units are on different floors.
I just configured it back to router mode, and guess what: no more disconnects.
It is a bug. Netgear does not care.

"The distance between the 2 units is around 20 feet." This is a factor as well. This maybe too close.
AP or Router mode doesn't matter..
Let us know if it happens again.
