Orbi 2.4 vs 5 issues connecting to Roomba

Question

So we got the Orbi hoping to fix slow internet. We moved from a router that gave us a choice on if we wanted to connect to&nbsp; 2.4 or 5 interent. There are certain devices like our Roomba that we must have our phone on the 2.4 to be able to connect to the device and control it. At this point I cannot connect to our Roomba at all because I cannot choose to get on the same 2.4 internet connection that it is on. Has anyone come up with a way around this type of thing?
