Orbi AC300 - Drops internet but speed test on app still great
Hello all, and thank you in advance. We have 200mbs down and 20 up which is through our fiber company in town. In April we installed the Orbi AC300 and were cruising along just fine until about a m...

Does the log show anything? Could be so many variables. How far is your satellite from the router? Basement to a 2nd floor long location could be causing connection loss. What are your RSSI readings? Since you have 1 satellite, turn off Daisy Chaining.

Distance is probably 5 feet up, and 50 feet away from that into the other bedroom where the other orbi is. I will check about the daisy chain if it is on or not. I did leave out that our ISP has checked everything on their side and everything is perfect.
Where exactly is the log at? The only log I have found is actual data being sent, not signal strength/history.
Thanks,

Thanks,
5 feet up through ceiling and 50 away may be just a little too far, as walls, ceilings, wiring and other interference degrade the coverage.
The log is at orbilogin.com click advanced, Administration, Logs. You may see something logged where you are being attacked or having lots of traffic at certain times.
You could also download and run NetSpot to see information such as WIFI channel, signal strength and RSSI, of the router and satellites. Any RSSI measurement between -48 dBm and -65 dBm will give you great connection. Higher may give poor speed and cause disconnects between the Router and Satellites. And too close giving a lower reading, even though 0dBm is optimum, can cause issues as well, hence the suggested 30ft plus between router and satellites.
