Orbi AC3000 RBK50 Router & Satellite-Router still connected; Satellite apparently disconnected
Purchased ORBI AC3000 RBK50 Router & Satellite on Amazon 11/3/2016. My Netgear account which I already had set up because I also have an Arlo security camera system would not let me register the serial number on my Orbi router - it states it is already registered but I only see my Arlo system on my Netgear online account.
Orbi Router and satelllite were all working fine until this week when my Satellite apparently disconnected. (I looked and my Orbi account states that there numerous devices connected, but that there are no satellites connected)
Regarding the satellite, when I turn it on, I only get the green LED light on the back (on/off) and then the top ring turns solid white after plugging in. It just stays solid white. Never pulses or changes color.
I tried to reset the satellite to factory default several times - used a paper clip to reset and waited for green LED to turn to amber blinking light. Waited for top ring to turn solid white and tried to reconnect the satellite back to my Orbi Router. (Green LED turns on. Solid white ring turns on on the top of satellite. But the solid white ring never blinks or turns colors and will not connect again to the Router. Just stays white.)
Not sure if I have a faulty satellite. No idea why it disconnected. I have no idea why my serial number says it's already been registered but does not show up on my account. Not sure how to proceed.
Purchased 6 months ago. I tried to register the serial number and it says it's already registered but it doesn't show up on my account.
Bought this because we needed more reliable connections and I was pleased because it was originally very easy to set up even though I know very little about this. But I'm not understanding why suddenly the satellite disconnected and why I cannot re-set the satellite successfully to reconnect it to the router.

Try moving the satellite closer to the router and see if it will synch. It's possible your RF environment changed enough to prevent the satellite from synching in it's current location.
