Orbi and Armor

I pulled the trigger and paid for an Armor subscription on my Orbi setup (RBR50, two RBS50s, two RBW30s).  Now, accessing the Security section of the Orbi iOS app frequently causes the router to crash.  I'm not sure if the fault lies with Armor, Orbi, or iOS app, but it is very annoying.  It takes quite a bit of fiddling to get the system to come back up.  Armor is not well integrated into the Orbi system.  I am running firmware 2.3.1.60 and had no significant issues before "upgrading" to to Armor.  Now things feel less stable each day.

Try a factory reset on the Orbi system. Set up from scratch. This time don't enabled Armor. Just run Orbi for a while and see how it does.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

After disabling Armor for two weeks, I had no further issues. However, while that did verify the issue was associated with the Armor installation, I was, of course, hoping to use the service I paid for.

Instead of going through the factory reset process (something I've had the privilege of experiencing a time or two during the two years I've had my Orbi), I downloaded the firmware released recently (2.3.5.30) and so far so good.  I noticed the second item in the release notes was a bug fix addressing wireless crash and reboots when the router is under stress.  I hope that this resolves my issue.  We will put it to the test and see.
