Orbi and Fios
Until recently, I had my Orbi connected to my FiOS gateway and had no issues with both wifi systems being active simultaneously, allowing me to put my work machines on the Orbi network and home autom...
IF you want to run both wifi systems, you can try this to see if it will help, be sure to set one routers wifi to channel 1 on 2.4Ghz and Orbi to channel 11. Same for 5Ghz. Use far appart channels. Place the Orbi far apart from the FIOS router. More than 10 feet.
If you want to run the Orbi in router mode, be sure to use the DMZ for the RBR on the FIOS router. Or use the Orbi in AP mode.
