I tried to do this with my Orbi and it just reset the router It did not factory reset the unit. Do you have the latest version of genie?

Yip, the latest one for Apple. I will try it again this weekend and see what happens. I've done this before and it didn't reset the unit, just the once over the weekend.
Will try it a couple more times and provide feedback if it happens again.
