Orbi and tplink Archer c9

I have been using an orbi system for about a year now. Recently, we just put up a pole barn. I have an ethernet cable running out to the building connected to a TP-Link c9 Archer router setup as an access point. When that router is on, my orbi inside the house says ip configuration error. Everything that is hardwired to the orbi system works perfectly fine. The wireless signal is extremely strong. Thoughts?

    What modem are you using?

Are you sure the TP-link is actually running in ap mode?

usually when the orbi gives a configuration error, it means something else is running the default ip address. That could be the tp-link. Maybe in its ap mode(the tp-link), it needs its ip address manually set to something like 192.168.1.100
