Orbi android mobile app: Is this cloud-based or local router access?

Question

As I recall, When I purchased the RBR50/RBS50 last month, I downloaded the Android Orbi app, created a Netgear account, set-up the router and registred the product all the same time. I am confused about the Netgear portal/ecosystem.

Questions: (hope I am wording this correctly?)

Is the Orbi app just a UI (user interface) that logs into my router localy or is it connecting to a cloud profile of my router?
Is the Orbi app credentials (username/password) the same as logging into my router via 192.168.1.1 or www.orbilogin.com/www.orbilogin.net ?
The Orbi Android account that I set-up on the Android app the same username/password that I would use to access MyNetgear account from the web? https://accounts.netgear.com
The Netgear forum is a diffrent username/password as well, correct? https://community.netgear.com
