Orbi as an access point
Hi Looking at getting an orbi system but have seen with other manufacturer systems there is a big difference in functionality when using in AP mode vs. router mode. What functionality gets lost whe...
here's the list of disabled features.

The following router features are not available (grayed out) when the router is in AP mode:
- Guest Network
- QoS
- Setup Wizard
- Port Forwarding/Port Triggering
- Remote Management
- UPnP
- IPv6
- Traffic Meter
- Parental Controls
- Block Sites
- Block Services
- VPN service
- VLAN/IPTV setup
- Internet Setup
- WAN Setup
- LAN Setup
You can stll manage the orbi with the app or the browser when in AP mode.
Thanks for pointing me to that.
Ouch....thats quite a lot non-functional.
Some understandable as not relevant.
The killer for me is no guest network.

Guest WiFi is available when the Orbi is an access point.

Indeed. The list of disabled features for Orbi is not the same as it is for routers.
