Hi all. In Singapore I purchased the Orbi AX6000 (RBK853) router with two satellites. In the next couple of weeks I will be moving to US. Should I be bringing the Orbi with me? Are wifi networks more...

Are wifi networks more or less the same across the globe?
Yes. WiFi is standardized. There are differences from region to region concerning power levels, available channels, etc.

There is a paragraph explaining Singapore regulations which can be compared with US regulations.
2.4G WiFi channels 12 and 13 are allowed in Singapore, but not in the US.
There appear to be differences in the allowed 5G channels as well.
It might be worth taking a minute to see if the Region Code for your RBR850 can be changed to North America. The older Orbi could be changed fairly easily. I know nothing about the AX models in this regard.

regarding the power adapters, the ones I received in Singapore come a main body and with UK and EU plus inserts (but not adapters for the US). Are the US ones for sale separately?
There are power supplies on Amazon that claim to work with the RBK853 model:
The actual power supply you have is probably a universal model: 50-60Hz, 120-240volt. That would work in the US, but the issue is finding an insert that is compatible with it.
If someone would offer me 75% of what I paid for it, I would sell it and buy new when in the US.

Thanks a million CrimpOn! I feel assured the Orbi will work in the US as well. Under the Advanced Wireless Settings I am able to change the region. Thanks for the link to the power adapters as well. Cheers!
