Orbi BK43 AC2200 intermittent working/not working

Finally got a solution and fix to my woes.

After all of my searching and work, wasn't the router at fault at all.

I had swapped out to my old modem last week.

Swapped out to my old router.

And then on my Chromebook and phone, still saw internet on/off happening.

Sure looked like a Xfinity issue and not anything I could do on my end.

After MANY hours of chats and calls, finally got a technician out.

Was thinking that if their service couldn't be fixed/improved, and this was as good as it would get, then I would cancel since family and myself were used to relying on phones' hot spots.

But...

wife texted shortly after technician arrived that the coax from pole to our home was full of water.

Found splits in the insulation and it was full of water.

Replaced that section and all is better.

Wanted to share my fantastic tale 🙂
