Orbi cable router CBR40
comcast has good signal to the Orbi. All my devices recognize the Orbi but no internet connection. Satellite is synced but no signal and no devices see it.

because I had no internet with the Orbi I went back to my old Netgear router and Comcast's modem. It takes Comcast about an hour to shut down the current devices, change their billing and activate the Orbi. I assume that I again will not have internet through the Orbi and will try to access "orbilogin.com" with my phone or with a computer ethernet cabled to the Orbi--assuming that works.
When that's done, what am I looking for under "status" and what's my next step if that inquiry doesn't yield postive results?

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.

If the CBR fails to connect at all, then you'll need to return the kit to where you got it and get another or ask NG support for help and information. Ask about an RMA.
