Orbi CBK40 with an extra satelite (2 satellites total)
Hi guys,
We the 3 pack Orbi system (bought at Cost Co) for our business with a Cox supplied wireless router. I want to get rid of the Cox router and go all Orbi.
If I buy the CBK40 and use two of the satellites I already have, do you think the system can handle this without issues?
- 2 music streaming services at the same time
- 1 point of sale system
- 2 Ring security systems
- Anywhere between 5-8 people connecting to the WIFI at any given time
We have two suites that are next together (total of 3500sqft) but you can't walk from one suite to the other without exiting the front doors. But the suites are separated by glass and a small walkway. The Orbi satellites work seamlessly supplying WIFI conversage for both loactions.
Thanks - Mike

First check with the ISP to see if the CBR40 is supported on there network system.
The CBK40 should handle your configuration needs. 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
