Orbi CBR40-Openvpn-Trouble Using WiFi/ Mobile Data While Connected On Samsung Galaxy S8+

I recently turned on my openvpn setting within my CBR40 Orbi router.  I set up my Samsung Galaxy S8+ as a vpn client using OpenVPN Connect.  Whenenver I connect to my vpn server from this vpn client, I am unable to access the internet via WiFi or mobile data.  It does show that my connection is successful.  I downloaded the config file from orbilogin.com.  I use the TCP protocol for my connection because I also set up my desktop computer as a vpn client, and the UDP protocol would not work.  I have also tried different settings within the OpenVPN Connect app but nothing seems to work.  Any suggestions?
