Orbi certificate getting in the way of real certs
Wireless users of my home network have recently and frequently been getting Net::ERR_CERT_INVALID errors when navigating to https sites.
- Orbi RBR50
- Two satellites
- Router Firmware Version V2.7.2.104
- This only affects wireless connections. Wired connections are fine.
- Affects wireless connected laptops and mobile devices
- Problem began happening a day ago.
- Added Netgear Armor two weeks ago. (Relevant?)
- Occurs in multiple browsers - Not just Chrome
The certificate is coming from routerlogin (as expected) and is labled as invalid presumably because it is self signed. The expiry date is far in the future and the issue date is in the past.
Is it possible to manage or disable the certificate on the router?
I don't want the standard browser solution - my kids and guests should not have to dig through their browser settings to make youtube work.

I have never activated Armor. (Once I saw free "trial" - which implies free now, PAY LATER), I said, "Don't need this."
My Orbi is on 2.7.2.104 and I never get this message on any computer with any browser.
Nor did it happen on any previous firmware. (Netgear began using that self-signed cert a year ago.)
(If I open "https://orbilogin.net", the cert pops up as INVALID, but not for any other site.)
So, "I got nothin" and think you may be onto something regarding Armor.

I'll post this in taht forum too but I will leave it open here in case anyone else has ideas.
I am also going to change my internal net numbering. That might help.
