Orbi connection base to satellite

Hi everyone and sorry for my possible stupid question.   I actually connect the router and the satellite with ethernet but the location of the satellite is not really the best choice. (orange lig...

Ok sorry.

 

I would like to say Magenta; anyway the one for the poor connection.

 

The question is: IF I connect the base to the satellite with an ethernet, I will have better performances from the satellite than having only the wifi connection?

Ethernet is always better (in most cases) than wifi.

    It does make me wonder that he is getting a poor connection over Etherhet.

     

    Out of curiousity did you try connecting another device to that Ethernet cable and measure the performance? Do you have problems on the Ethernet cable or is Orbi having issues?
