It would be useful to know if the event is predictable. For example, on the Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab, click on the blue box labelled "Connection Status." It will show when the DHCP lease is due to expire. I would set a timer on my smartphone to alert me a few minutes before the lease is due to expire and "see what happens." This idea is, of course, ridiculous, but then dropping the connection every day is also ridiculous.
