Is this the built-in Orbi speed test? That would be running on the router in the basement, and would not indicate the speed achieved on a satellite on the floor above. Should run a speed test on something attached to the satellite. (If that is what you did, then "Wow")
Generally, omnidirectional antennas have the weakest signal directly above and below. An offset should produce higher signal strength.
