Orbi Device Management not working - Pausing Oculus

My router has been working well since I got it a couple of weeks ago, and then today I discovered that even though I have an Oculus Quest device paused for internet access, it still has full unrestricted access to the internet.  I verified the IP address is correct for the blocked device, I have rebooted the router, and I have removed and re-added the Oculus to the network and the device has unrestricted internet in spite of being paused  under the Devices menu on the app.  It worked like a charm up until now.  What could be causing this issue?

As a side note, as an alternative I tried using parental controls and then adding this device under a profile and I explicitly blocked youtube for the device profile, and even that does not block access to that site.

Thank you for any help!

Chad

Not having much experience with the Orbi 'app', my solution would be to use the Orbi web interface (http://orbilogin.net).

Navigate to the Advanced Tab, Security menu, Block Services.

Add a rule for "Any" TCP/UDP. It should fill in all ports (1-65535) and then enter the IP address of this device.

    Click Apply.

The way I understand it, this will cause the Orbi to block internet access from that one device using any TCP or UDP port.

p.s. While I adore how cute the Orbi 'app' is, I have yet to find an explanation for what that "Pause" slider actually means.

I understand the web interface (or at least I hope that I do.)

Can you give this a try and see what happens?
