We have release firmware version 1.12.0.18 this firmware has fixes for disconnects and many more I posted the release notes below.

If you are still having issues after updating your Orbi unit you may want to factory reset the Orbi and test again. If you are still having disconnect issues or other issues with this firmware please create a new thread or contact our support team.

May 19, 2017In my situation, even with the satellite unplugged the router still broadcasts the backhaul signal and you can see it constantly dropping. The location of the two doesn't make a difference. I have an ongoing support case but have no fix yet even on the beta firmware. It has been this way from the beginning which is about 6 months so I am not sure a firmware rollback will help. It seems like it could be a hardware issue to me. I wonder if the backhaul drop is the underlying issue for many users' disconnects but most have not had a chance to watch the signal in real time.
