What channels are you using? Try manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz.
Also try disabling MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roamng.
Any other wifi neighbors near by? If so, how many?

I had it on Auto for the channels, but now switched it to channel 6 per your recommendation. I turned off the Backhaul Daisy Chaining. MIMO and Fast Roaming were already off.
I have neighbors and I can see their SSIDs... we live in a moderately dense neighborhood - houses are about 20 feet apart. Everyone has wifi....
