Orbi Disconnects whenever I reboot my hard wired laptop
I have had this weird issue where if I reboot or shutdown the computer that is plugged into the RBR50 primary router using a hardwired Ethernet then my entire network shuts down until I boot it back ...

My laptop in my office is hardwired to the RBR50v2 using a standard ethernet Cat5E cable. Whenever I shutdown my Macbook Air or Pro the entire wifi network does down and it won't come up until I boot up the hardwired laptop.
Is there one laptop wired to the RBR50, or two? When the laptop is powered off, what happens:
- The Orbi ceases broadcasting its WiFi SSID?
When devices seek to connect, the Orbi system does not show up as a choice? - Devices which are already connected to the Orbi suddenly report "no internet" or "no connection"?
- Devices which are wired to the Orbi network suddenly stop working? (such as the TV).
Do you by chance happen to have a dumb gigabit ethernet switch lying around? (I have at least 3-4 old switches in my "box of stuff". Being a hoarder pays off occasionally.) Would be fascinating to see what happens if the laptop is plugged into a switch and the switch into the RBR50.
The Orbi has been 'reset' many times. What kind of reset? (just press something into the 'reset' hole and release, or perform a Factory Reset? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMw4ePACgc4
