Orbi Dropping Internet Connection Since V1.12.0.18

Since my Orbi was upgraded to V1.12.0.18, it has been dropping internet connectivity / providing really poor (in the 000 of kbs) connectivity. Prior to V1.12.0.18, my Orbi provided excellent and rock solid performance. I upgraded to 2.0.0.72 hoping that would solve my problems but it hasn't.

 

I've checked my modem logs, and there hasn't been any issues in the last 11 days, so the modem isn't the source of my problems.

 

I just have the Router + 1 Satellite, and besides the firmware, I haven't changed any settings / added any new devices to my network.

 

Any ideas? Possible paths to fix this problem?

  • Yes, reset settings to defaults - don't save and restore the setup

    but take note of any settings that you had such as port forwarding and re-enter them.

    Leave everything turned on. This is what I have.

     

    If that does not stabalize it then turn off UPnP (thats what I had to do to get a stable network)
