Do wired connections thru the Orbi as well drop?
Do you have access to the routers web page when this happens?
WHat is the distance between the router and satellite? Feet?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem? Built in router here?
Any other wifi neighbors near by? If so, how many?
What channels are you using? Try 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz.
Disable MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming.

Thanks for the response! Nice setup - do you have any other thoughts?
Yes, no, about 200 ft.
ISP Router:
Condo community, multiple neighbors.
2.4 and 5 not sure how to get the specific channels.
Have those disabled.

And the statllite works at 200 feet connected to the Orbi router?
How big is you condo? SqFeet?
Your ISP modem is a gatway router as well.
Couple of options,
Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode.
If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router. If you have a congested area with nieghbors, might have problems here. You can find changing channels on the routers web page. Under Basic/Wireless.

Thanks Ii's likely under 200 ft. The condo is about 110 sq ft. ISP router is wired to the orbi in the top floor and satellite is downstairs in the living room.
I have everything configured the last that you mention: disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

You might try just using the Orbi router alone with out the sateliite. The router alone can cover up to around 40 feet distance. You need 30 feet distance in between the router and satellite starting to take advantage of extending the wireless for more coverage....
