If you are still having issues after updating your Orbi unit you may want to factory reset the Orbi and test again. If you are still having disconnect issues or other issues with this firmware please create a new thread or contact our support team.

UPDATE:
Disabled Guest-WiFi and nothing changed. Same pattern of packet loss continued.
Seeing all these posts of new firmware made me wonder about that and seeing as I am a big boy and can manage my own firmware updates I tried downgrading from frimware 1.9.1.12 to the previous version. I figured I would try since my issues started a few days ago, around the same time this firmware was released. Nope, I can't do that. As soon as I downgraded my Satellite and then my Router they both auto updatd themselves to the latest version :smileysad:.
So the issue persists... Trying to find way to disable auto update on these things.

Anyone using Beta Firmware seen any improvement for this issue regarding iOS devices randomly dropping connection?

Just got this:
"We recently released an official Firmware for ORBI and it does not include wireless disconnection fixes for iOS yet as we are still working to make sure we do not miss anything on the fix to be embedded on the next official Firmware.
We got a new beta Firmware you can load to your unit in case your devices auto updated to the latest. Please use the links below:
Please let us know how your devices respond with this Firmware and thank you for your continued patience and for working with us on this. Have a great day always."- loomis1975May 23, 2017Luminary
Both links download the exact same sized file with the exact same name "RBR50" I'd be hesitant to upload one of those to your RBS50 Satellite. It might bork it.

I was notified that I shouldn't have posted the links, that they are only to be handed out by the support group. The links do in fact download two different files (labeled RBR and one labeled RBS) but again, they are beta debug and caused more problems than they solved. I notified support of my experience and hopefully, it will be accounted for in the next release.

Hi, Did you ever share the links so we can download the beta and try this as well?
