Orbi feature to "pin" device to Router/Satellite

Can there be an option within the Orbi interface / firmware that allows for "pinning" a device to a router or Satellite? I have a Amazon Echo that is 5 feet from a Satellite with full 5 Ghz, but for some reason it still is trying to get 5 Ghz from the main Orbi router about 25 feet away. Can't see the signal strength for each device (which is another feature that should come to the Web Interface).

You can't pin devices to th RBR or RBS. It's up to wifi devices to pick and choose where they connect to based on signal quality, noise and conditions.

You can help some by turning down the power out put of the RBR from 100% to 75 or 50%.

    Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
