Orbi Firmware 1.4.0.16

I bought the Oribi one week ago today at Costco.  It's been GREAT. . . until today.  I updated to firmware V1.4.0.34 and it's pretty much cut my speed in half.  I'm getting 20-30 Mbps down whereas before the update I was getting in excess of 60.  

 

Am I the only one who is having this issue?  I don't really want to have to "troubleshoot" something which cost this much when I can just as easily take it back and get an Eero or Velop.

  • What you are experiencing is not a common issue, have you tried rebooting your modem/orbi/devices in that specific order? if this doesn't fix the issue you can try resetting to factory defaults or perhaps manually reverting to the firmware that worked better for you.

    • I have tried restoring to factory settings/reset.  Same crappy results.
