Orbi Firmware 2.3.1.60
Welp, anyone have any notes on this thing? It's already downloaded to my router and satellite waiting for me to pull the pin.

Hi,
Just for information, when you're in the Firmware Update page and it downloads new firmware to install, the version number next to both the router and the satellite is a clickable link.
If you click the link, it will show you the release notes of all changes between your currently installed firmware and the update.
Although, this "feature" is not hidden, it's not always obvious that it's there either.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
What WPA security modes are you using?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

I use my own Motorola SB6141 modem, so it is not provider-specific. Orbi is connected directly to the modem so there is nothing in between which may affect the connectivity. I reset my Nest camera weekly, basically going through the setup steps from the beginning. It stays connected for , both before and after replacement. Also I placed a satellite within 6ft from the Hello to ensure a good signal. The robot vacuum connects and reconnects on its' own, but once the connection is lost, it loses the stored maps, so I need to restart it couple of times before it finds the settings. The network hang ups - I read about it online and did everything recommended (played with the settings in Advanced set up). The issue stays. I believe one firmware release fixed it then the next one broke it immediately.
After todays firmware upgrade the network is extremely slow; my HP Tablet has disconnected almost immediately, so did the Nest Hello.
I tried to address this with Netgear tech support and the only advise from them is "wait for a new firmware"

In my case with dropping wifi/devices all the time. I have tried to disconnect all satellites, changed the SSID so no devices was connected by wifi, my devices where only connected via cable, the wifi where still dropping from the router, both 2.4 and 5. I have now tried two another routers, same problem on all of them and i have tried all above suggestions, no one helps. I have had problem since day one, different problem in each firmware update.

If you have tried other routers and they exhibit the same issue, then your wifi environment and surroundings needs to be looked in to.
What other wifi devices do you have that may be broadcasing wifi?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

First picture show all wifi network in the house and nearby. Other sending wifi is Netgear arlo pro 2 with 9 cameras, in this picture they both uses channel 1, but i have the same problem when they are on different channels. The second pictures shows the drops from rotuer and three satellites. I also have lot of Philips hue lights and the hue hub is about 5 feet from the router and i also have lot of zwave plus devices and the samsung smartthings v2 hub is also about 5 feet from the router. Could it be one of those that makes/interferes the wifi to drop?
