No. Access Point mode turns off Orbi’s routing functions, but your ASUS will be doing the routing, so no loss of LAN or WAN access.

Think of it this way
AP Mode : The Orbi provides wireless connectivity( both main and guest) to your network but that is all. All routing features such as DHCP, QOS, DDNS, DMZ, UPnP, VPN, any routing rules etc are all provide by your ASUS router. You must remember to Disable the wireless feature on your router.
