Orbi iOS app unable to download from App Store
Hi, I've been trying to download the Orbi app onto my iPhone, but it just won't load. Any advice?
This should now be resolved please let me know if you are still seeing this issue.

Besure the old app is deleted from the phone. After removing, reboot the phone fully, power OFF or reboot.
After reboot or powered ON, try to download and install the app.
- Thanks! but I just bought the router and never had the application. I've tried all the ios devices and the behavior itself. I just got it on an android phone
I had exactly the same problem & again in my case, the is a first time installation for a new system setup. The Orbi app for iOS simply would not download from the App Store after repeated attempts. I eventually gave up & switched to my Android phone which installed the app from Google Play without a hitch.
I likwise have just purchased Orbi set up but I am unable to download the app from the IOS store.
Is this an acknowledged issue? Is an action being taken to remedy? If so what is the timescale. This was one of the features on which I based my purchasing decision.
- Hi, I’m having the same issue. Bought the orbi yesterday and we can’t download the iOS app on any devices. We have set up the routers manually using the web browser option but we don’t have any android devices so we can’t access so much of the functionality!! How annoying!! When are netgear going to fix the app?
I am having the same problem with downloading the app from App Store.
The set-up and installation was a pain (8hrs). the instruction to first login to orbilogin.com was not clear. making it worst was not being able to download the ultilies app. most of all, there was no announcement from NETGEAR. so much for treating your customers well.

Same here, italian App Store. Impossible to download the App.
Please fix it ASAP.

What a shame! I just got my Orbi from store this evening. Same issue found in Hong Kong.
I've contacted also Apple Team and they've just replied that the issue is only from Netgear side that needs to fix that!
It's really a shame ...
Btw i've my Orbi coming from Amazon to my house ....
Exactly the same issue here in the UK.
Received brand new RBK50 at the weekend and have tried getting the Orbi app from the Apple app store ever since. After tapping “get” and successful authentication, the app simply does not download (the “get” button re-appears).
After 5 or 6 attempts on this iPad, my wife’s iPad Pro and my son’s iPhone 8, I gave up and opted to use the web browser interface.
BUT I would still like the app please Netgear!
