Orbi loosing Internet Connection

Hello - I have had my Orbi installed for less than a week.  3 time now it has lost all connection to the internet.  I have to reboot, unplug, both the Orbi and my modem multiple time before I can get...

    Hello Everyone

     

    We have release firmware version 1.12.0.18 this firmware has fixes for disconnects and many more I posted the release notes below.

    If you are still having issues after updating your Orbi unit you may want to factory reset the Orbi and test again. If you are still having disconnect issues or other issues with this firmware please create a new thread or contact our support team.

I honestly don't understand how the Orbi can cause so much havoc on a network while running in AP mode. I have a nighthawk r7000 doing all the backbone work in router mode and my wired connections are affected even though they're not running through the Orbi...

So frustrating. i understand fixes take time but rolling back could at least help keep us running properly until a better firmware is available. I honestly don't know why it's not an option for us. :(

    I agree, even in AP mode it disconnects on wired connections. The Orbi has to be shut off from your network period. This product wasn't ready and we should demand it be fixed or be refunded for a faulty product.

      I have it in AP mode and wired connection drops for a second about 2 to 3 times a day but only for a second very annoying.

        Our engineers are aware of the issues with IOS devices and are working to correct the Issue. I do not have a ETA on the fix or the firmware but will post once I know something.

         

        This is more then three Months back.... 😱
