Orbi manual update using Wireless connection
Hi,
I updated my Orbi Satellite from Orbilogin with my laptop using wireless network and later I realized, that it is not recommended. Not all laptops have ethernet jack nowadays. However, the update went well and everything works perfectly. Is there really a big risk that the router might get corrupt or is it just a very small risk, while updating Orbi firmware using wifi?

the only reason we don't recommend it is because when we see corrupt firmware issues, it tends to be from when people update over wireless or using the app.
The vast majority don't have issues so its not a big deal. I've even updated wirelessly at times.
Thats why we're always recommending on here to use a hardwired connection. But like you said, it isn't always possible.
