Try lowering the transmit power on the RBR as well. Should help here.
Might consider updating FW on the inside RBS first, then RBR lastly as well:

What Orbi models do you have?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Hi.. Thanks for the reply.
I have RBR50 connected to 2 satellites and an outdoor orbi.
Firmware is 2.7.4.24
The router is a cable modem in bridge mode so the orbi router does all the work.
Yes I have a high quality cable but the router isn't the problem it has never gone down or caused any issues. The issue is that the outdoor orbi connects to the orbi router rather then the orbi satellite which is closer hence giving me a slow and intermittent connection in the outdoor office.
My home is 2000sq ft but the office is in the garden with the outdoor orbi in between the house and garden office.
the first satellite is 43 feet from the router and the outdoor orbi is outside and about 40 feet from the satellite.
It used to connect to the satellite but when the power went out a while back it connected to the router with a poor status connection. I eventually reset everything and it reconnected to the satellite but after a recent power outtage it has now connected back to the router and won't connect to the satellite....
Is there some way of forcing the outdoor orbi to connect to the satellite rather then the router?

Try powering OFF the RBS including the outdoor RBS.
Then powering ON the closer RBS to the RBR first. Let it sync. Then power ON the next farther RBS, let it sync, then power ON the outdoor RBS lastly.
Might also try turning down the power on the RBR from 100% to 50% to see if this help keep the outdoor RBS connected to a closer RBS that's inside: Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Have tried powering off.. multiple scenarios to be honest. But I'll power down the RBR and see if that works. Thanks!
