Orbi Periodic Slow Wired Connection to Satellite
I have a PC (1 GB ethernet) connected by Cat5 cable to a RBS50 satellite. Periodically (every couple weeks), the download speeds drop from 70 Mbps (this is max - it's what we pay Comcast for) to 3 Mb...
Do other wired devices see similar issue if you have a spare PC or laptop to test with?
What is the Mfr and model of this PC?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet adapter card in the PC?
What FW are you using one the router and satellite?
Firmware is 2.1.3.4 for both router and satellite.
PC was self-built a couple years ago (i7-5820K); the motherboard is MSI X99A SLI PLUS ATX LGA2011-3.
This wasn't an issue with the EX7000 that the Orbi replaced, so I don't think it's a hardware issue with the PC.
I do not have another laptop to test wired connection speed (no ethernet ports on our laptops), but I will try to figure something else out.
