Orbi Periodic Slow Wired Connection to Satellite
I have a PC (1 GB ethernet) connected by Cat5 cable to a RBS50 satellite. Periodically (every couple weeks), the download speeds drop from 70 Mbps (this is max - it's what we pay Comcast for) to 3 Mb...
Ethernet is in the motherboard (model number above). The chipset uses an Intel I218 Gigabit LAN.
Yes, was looking for the chip set Mfr of the ethernet adapter on the motherboard.

I have exactly this problem with one of my satellites and my ipad pro. I'm using the ....18 software. I was hoping this was fixed in the new beta, but I guess it wasn't
Do other devices work ok with your satellite?
Was a full factory reset and set up from scratch performend on the router and satellite after updating to v2.1.3.4 FW?

FWIW, I had this behavrio at initial setup as well. I tried swapping satellites and swapping cables. What worked for me the first time was changing which port I was plugged into (moved it to the one furthest to the left). Then a couple weeks pass during which things are fine, and one morning, it's not fine again. What worked the second time was unplugging and plugging the cable back in.
The intermittent issues are the hardest...
Things are working OK now, so I'll wait to see if it happens again.
If it happens again, I would ask about an RMA.
