I agree. If the network doesn't do something essential, it has to go.
Can you describe:
- What modem (brand/model) the Orbi router is connected to?
- Only the Orbi is connected to the modem, correct?
Everything else is connected "behind" the Orbi? - Are there any switches in the configuration?
- Does the NAS have an "assigned" IP address?
(in the Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab, LAN Setup)
(You can simply assign it the IP address it already has)
