Orbi Product Comparison

Hi all,

I think an Orbi AC3000 mesh network would be a good solution to have a unified network with some remote ethernet connections.  But....  I'm so confused.

Models:

  • rbk50
  • rbk52w
  • rbk53
  • rbr50
  • rbs50
  • rbs50y

Is there a good comparison that explains the differences between these models?

Help!

  • OK, I think I have got it:

    • rbk50 - AC3000 Kit of router & 1 regular satellite
    • rbk52w  - AC3000 Kit of router & 2 wall satellites
    • rbk53 - AC3000 Kit of router & 2 regular satellites
    • rbr50 - AC3000 router only
    • rbs50 - AC3000 regular satellite only
    • rbs50y - AC3000 outdoor satellite only

Thanks for the previous reply and any others reviewing.

    There's always this page:

    https://www.netgear.com/orbi/systems.aspx

Note the RBR is a router, the RBS is a satellite.  The RBK variants are kits, router+satellite(s).   The RBS50Y is the new outside satellite.
