Orbi Rb-50 not port forwarding ?
Been trying to figure this thing out but it doesn't seem to want to open the actual port. Orbi Rb-50 and satellite running in router mode. Xfinity 1gb service running through an arris surfboard T2...

The Arris is literally just a broadband modem no wireless functions. It's run straight into the Orbi that is set up in router mode.
There is no need to bridge it as it's made to run into a router as per the manufacturer and Xfinity techs( but I seemed to know more then the Xfinity "tech" just with the research I've done over the last few days.

There appear to be multiple "parts" to this aquarium controller. Can you please explain exactly what you have and how it is connected to the Orbi? (ethernet, WiFi)?
Is it possible to configure the device for local access only? i.e. control it when the smartphone is connected to the same LAN?
