Yes all indications are it’s the switch as connecting to the lan port is normal with internet connection. I cannot access the router setup page using my PC connected directly to the orbi lan port. Using the Orbi app on my phone does not connect to the oribi setup page but to a sign in requesting email address and password neither of which I can remember or can get with the possible combinations. I simply want to get to the Orbi setup page. Should I be connected to the internet port of the orbi instead?
I have reset the Admin password on the Orbi but did this using the Netgear tool which needs the orbi serial number.
Can you help me get to the orbi setup page so i can see the FW version and other data?

I was able to connect to the Orbi only using my iphone (wifi) but the tiny print from the page was almost unreadable on the iphone. The Orbi internet port connected to modem as normal. Had to use the ip address of 10.0.0.1 to access since previous gateway was changes likely due to the FW version noted as 2.7.3.22, originally 192.168.1.1, so i set it back to this IP under advance settings.
Still no connection through switch for all wired ethernet devices. Could the FW be at fault? hereIf the router is defaulting to 10.0.0.1 address, its detecting another router on the network. What spectrum model modem do you have?
- The last FW I saw after setting up the Orbi sometime ago was 2.4.5.36 that I did not state in the reply but stated the previous gateway IP instead that was also changed likely when the FW updated to the later version.

BAD ETHERNET JUMPER TO THE SWITCH FROM ORBI. IT’S ALWAYS THE PRESUMPTIONS THAT GET US EVERY TIME.Glad you got it resolved!
- Just to be very clear in answering the question about router access, I discovered the default address of the router had been changed from 192.168.1.1 to 10.0.0.1. I was entering the IP address in the safari browser of my iphone which never to which there was no connection until I entered the new default address. I’m sure you likely figured that out but I just wanted to be clear. I did try from my iphone again entering the 102.168.1.1 address in safari and reached the login page but for some reason the router did not recognize the credentials. HOWEVER after attempting to login using orbi.net, i reached the sign-in screen again but was able to access the setup page using the same credentials. That is really quite odd and very peculiar but likely die to access with the iphone WHIC IS PURELY awful on a good day!
