Orbi RBK13 network key password
Hi. Maybe a basic question.
Is it possible for one of the 3 units (router and satellites) from a box to come with different passwords (network key)? Or should all 3 of them setup with the same password from the factory?
Thank you.

"possible" is such an existential question. An new system is supposed to come from the factory with one consistent WiFi SSID/password. If you are seeing more than one, it might be a good idea to delete the offending satellite, Factory Reset it, then do the "Add Orbi Satellite" routine.

Sorry, I should have included the background.
I sold my unopened RBK13 (got good deal on AX) on eBay. The buyer claimmed that one of the satellite is defective and demanded a refund. I paid for the shipping back and just received the set back a few hours ago. While checking I found the satellite that he marked as defective has SSID and network key that is different from the rest of the set.
I found it odd that a mesh system comes from the factory with mismatched SSID and network key.- michaelkenwardGuru - Experienced User
Did you keep a note of the serial numbers?
Could be someone trying to do a switcheroo with a dodgy device.
