Orbi RBK23 - Can I force Daisy Chaining?
I own a NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Mesh WiFi System - AC2200 (RBK23) and I'm having some issues. I have two satellites (RBS20); one about 40 feet away from the router (RBR20) and one floor down, and the other about 10 feet below the first satellite. The second satellite keeps connecting to the router with poor signal quality. I have a Tivo connected to the first and a Tivo Mini on the second, and the Mini cannot establish a strong connection to the first Tivo so I am unable to watch TV.
I want to see if there is a way I can force the second satellite to daisy chain through the first. This should ensure that the connection between the Tivos stays strong. Is this possible?
Info
Daisy-Chain Topology is Enabled in the Advanced Wireless Settings
All devices are running Firmware Version V2.7.4.24
Beamforming, MU-MIMO, and Fast Roaming are all disabled (enabling them seems to cause a lot of stability issues)
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello Graig,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand you would like to daisy chain your RBK23. Daisy chaining your RBK23 is solely reliant on the location of the satellite relative to the router.
Please navigate to the link below for a diagram for the optimal daisy chaining layout:

Hi Kevin.
Thanks for the reply, but this isn't helpful. My two satellites are pretty much in-line with one another, with the second satellite more distant than the first and getting a poor connection to the router, yet it never tries to daisy chain off the first satellite.
Why doesn't it daisy chain off the first satellite? Is there a way to force it to connect to the first satellite?
For an expensive mesh WiFi system, getting things to work properly shouldn't be this difficult.
Thanks.
