Orbi RBK23 router going offline
Hi there, I've had my netgear orbi rbk23 for roughly 24 hours and I've had the router go offline 3 times. When I go to the orbi app it shows the router offline and both satellites show online. I have...

Very nice router. You said you disabled the router's DHCP and WIFI settings?
I assume you connected the Orbi to the ISP modem/routers LAN port?
Anything between the ISP router and the Orbi, other than the network cable?
Do you lose internet when you see the router offline?

Very nice router. You said you disabled the router's DHCP and WIFI settings? Yes I did, was this a mistake? I seemed to be getting faster speeds on wifi using the orbi router.

Anything between the ISP router and the Orbi, other than the network cable? Nothing.
Do you lose internet when you see the router offline? Yes. On my phone an exclamation mark (!) Comes up beside the wifi signal and it no longer works. It shows up as offline on the orbi app, while the satilites show up as online

No mistake, you have 2 options, the way you are setup using the Orbi router in router mode, or set the ISP router up as the router, disable the WIFI (or not), and set the Orbi router in AP mode.
I think the issue is between the ISP router and the Orbi router. I would check all setting on the ISP router and try a reset and reinstall on the Orbi router.

Bridging your modem allows you to use a third-party router and disables the modem’s Wi-Fi capability.
Follow these steps to bright the Hitron CODA 4582 modem.
- Open a web browser and visit 192.168.0.1.
- Sign in using the following credentials:
- Username: Cusadmin
- Password: password (or your easy connect Wi-Fi password)
- Select Basic.
- Select the Gateway Function tab.
- Select Residential Gateway Function.
- Select Disable.
- To finish, select OK when prompted.
If so, to start from the beginning, I would factory reset your Orbi router. Connect the Orbi router to the Hitron CODA 4582 modem, turn it on, using the Orbi app re-configure your Orbi router starting from scratch.
