Hi I’ve just bought a orbi RBK23 system I was just wondering when I set it up if I connect to my existing router from my Internet provider or do I unplug it and just connect the orbi

The RBK23 is a router, therefore you don't 'need' another router. You can run 2 routers, but it requires special config and IMHO is not recommended.
You will need a modem
