How does one tell if their mesh system is daisy chain or star system?

    Two ways:

On the Orbi web interface, open the Attached Devices display. It will indicate which unit each satellite connects to by MAC address.

On the Orbi 'app', the system diagram will show daisy chained devices linked to another satellite rather than directly to the router.

Thank you Crimpon! I have 6 devices on my router, 4 on Sat 1, and 3 on Sat 2. So is that a daisy chain? I’m trying to figure out the best locations for my satellites and if another satellite will help.

Daisy Chain refers to the way Orbi satellites are connected to the Orbi network, not how user devices are connected.

If there are two satellites, then Attached Devices (or the Orbi 'app') will show if both are connected to the router or if one of the satellites is connected to the other satellite.
