Orbi RBK30 wireless network duplicated as hidden network in Windows 7 and 10?
In the list of available wireless networks on my Windows 7 laptops and 10 desktop, from the first moment I installed the RBK30, the wireless network with SSID was visible and also a duplicated hidden...
Orbi has a wireless backhaul, which is used to transmit data between the Orbi router and satellite units. The backhaul uses hidden SSIDs on 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. You cannot turn these hidden networks off, and there is no reason to do so. Just ignore them.
