Orbi RBK40 Warranty (1 year or 3 years)

Hello all,

I've recently bought a used RBK40 to try to see if it is enough to cover my house in wifi.

Seller has been using it for a year max, and the box says there are 3 years warranty. 

Great.

I saw a topic about transferring a used product registered from the seller account to mine -

But was shown that the warranty was only one year, even when the purchase date is on the 29th Aug 2018.

Not sure if there is any point transferring the product over if the warranty is expiring soon.
