Orbi RBK50 - Modem Requirements for Best Performance

I am considering purchasing an Orbi router to connect to my cable internet.

 

Are there any recommendations or minimum requirements for the cable modem that will ensure good performance?

 

 I currently have an ARRIS TM602G (currently only used for telephone); and a Motorola Surfboard SBG6580.

    No orbi should work with any cable modem that uses a ethernet cord to connect to a router.
