Nov 29, 2022Orbi RBK50 & 2 satellites RBS20 different Backhaul SSID & Backhaul Passphrase
Hello,
My Orbi network is RBR50, 2x RBS50 & 2x RBR20. The RBR50 and the 2 RBS 50 satellites have the same Backhaul SSID & Backhaul Passphrase, but I don't know how to change the Backhaul SSID & Backhaul Passphrase on the 2 RBS20 satellites. I thought about Telnet, but I don't know how to enable it. I think in version V2.7.4.24 - Telnet is already blocked.

Please explain how you discovered that the backhaul passphrase is different on the RBS20 satellites.
The backhaul passphrase can be set for the entire network on the router Advanced Tab, Advanced Setup, Wireless Settings.

In addition, when the power is turned off, it does not connect any RBS20 to the Orbi network. They light up pink and you have to connect every time, the rest of the Orbi network works.

Thanks. That hidden_info web page is really useful.
Strange that the satellite appears to have an IP address
When adding new satellites that were not part of a 'package' purchase to an existing Orbi system most people perform a Factory Reset on the satellite before selecting the Add Orbi Satellite from the web browser menu. Were these satellites reset?
